Appealing to Lads, Steve Cradock wannabes and the genuine mod article alike, the long awaited Lambretta store has now opened.

The Lambretta store will house the entire collection for Spring/Summer ' 98, featuring both directional clothing for men and footwear for men and women.

A retro feel combined with the latest in modern fabrics and finishes gives the clothing instant appeal.

The collection includes

Shirts — Slim fitting shirts in both short and long sleeve styles.
Long sleeves include military styled and denim with logo and sleeve pocket detailing. Short sleeves include plains, diagonal print stripes and gingham's all with embroidered cuff detailing. Colours include white, cream, beige, powder blue, navy and black.

Knits — Lambretta offer a choice of two looks for knit for Spring/Summer 1998. The first is slim fitting, short sleeve shirt styles in plain, waffle and mini diagonal check, with subtle logo detailing. Colours include white, ecru, sky beige, lilac, navy and black. The second look is a tiny gauge knit in long and short sleeve styles including border stripe fronts. Styles include crew, and v-neck collars. Colours are khaki, powder blue, grey, ecru, navy & petrol.

Jackets — The key jacket style for Spring/Summer is the hooded nylon slipover. A must have for any Lambretta devotee, the half zip slip over features logo front and is available in stone & navy. Classic jacket styles include a slim fit suedette bomber in ecru, blue & navy and a Hannington (polynosic washed) in navy, beige and black.

Jeans — Made from Tencel, leans are slim fitting and featuring frogmouth pocket detailing. Available in plain twill or checks, colours include blue, navy, sand, white and mint. Also on offer will be a stretch polyester trouser style, providing comfort and freedom of movement, available in blue. Original, directional and ideal for a modern, active lifestyle, the Lambretta footwear collection features five individual ranges for Spring Summer ' 98. From the strong lines of the Lambretta leather loafer to the distinct retro feel of the OCS chukka boot. the Lambretta footwear collection have a design to suit every taste.

Bowling Shoes — The popular 'Bowling Shoe' as featured on the cover of the Ocean Colour Scene single "travellers tune", remains a key style for Spring/Summer ' 98. A new skateboard inspired rubber 'sport' sole gives the bowling collection a street edge in traditional red, white and blue as well as black and white. RRP £59.99 .

OCS (Ocean Colour Scene) Collection — The new OCS collection includes an original suede chukka hoot and shoe designs on a slim sole. featuring a slightly chiselled toe. Available in nubuck suede in beige, navy and black this collection is for those who appreciate simple but classic designs. A particular favourite of the band, this collection has been named after Ocean Colour Scene and will be worn, alongside the howling shoe, throughout their forthcoming world tour. RRP from 64.99 .

Brogues and Loafers — Comprising of more formal designs, key designs include plain and tassel loafers and classic brogues with varying detail in colour of black and burgundy in high shine leather. Also available for women. RRP from 59.99 .

Desert Boots — Following the success of the classic desert boot, created on the original 60's lasts, Lambretta have now expanded the collection to include a few rubber 'sport sole' design. New colours including poppy and royal blue will be available, alongside navy, chocolate and stone for Spring/Summer ' 98. RRP from 59.99 .
